Job summary

PM Mold Company is seeking experienced Setup Technicians for the 2nd and 3rd shifts to set up molds, operate auxiliary equipment, and assist with machine starts while maintaining safety and quality. Candidates should be comfortable around molding machines, able to read and write English, and capable of lifting up to 50 pounds with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience with setting up molds.
• Must be able to safely work around molding machines.
• Must be able to operate forklift and overhead crane.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Good communication skills –written & oral.
• Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Must be able to read, write & speak English.
• Some processing knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Set and pull molds (knowledge of setting up hydraulic cores)
• Set up auxiliary equipment
• Help with starting machines
• Help supervisor in answering alarms
• Debug auxiliary equipment problems
• Performs necessary preventative maintenance on molds
