Job summary

Cretex Medical in Minnesota is seeking a Set-Up Technician for 2nd shift (2:00 pm–10:30 pm, Monday–Friday). You will set up injection molds, prepare auxiliary equipment, run initial inspections, monitor presses, and troubleshoot manufacturing issues to maintain product quality.

The role requires 3+ years of mold setup experience, knowledge of plastics, and the ability to document procedures. Safety, quality, and ERP data entry are essential aspects of the job.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in set-up
• Knowledge of plastic resins and mold setup
• Ability to read, comprehend, follow and document SOPs and work instructions

Responsibilities

• Set up and tear down of injection molds in molding equipment
• Prepare required auxiliary equipment
• Complete first piece inspection of production run
• Monitor presses and alarms and troubleshoot issues
• Maintain part quality by audits and documenting defects
• Develop and document set-up sheets for tooling changes
• Enter production information into ERP in a timely manner
• Adhere to safety policies and company procedures
