Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a Mold Setter to install, remove, and maintain molds used in plastic part manufacturing. Responsibilities include inspecting components, repairing damage, and operating cranes and power tools with safety as a priority.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic hydraulics knowledge, and experience with hand/power tools. Lift up to 50 lbs; on-site manufacturing facility responsibilities apply.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of hydraulics and limit switches.
• Experience using basic hand and power tools.
• Injection molding experience a plus.
• Mold setting experience a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. periodically throughout the day.

Aufgaben

• Inspect molds and components for damage
• Report damage to the Production Manager; repair minor damage and replace parts, as needed
• Use overhead crane, tow motor, and various power tools to remove molds and components from machine
• Clean molds and components and transport them to and from mold storage area
• Install and replace hydraulic and water lines of each press as needed
• Follow all safety rules
• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
• Installation of any ancillary equipment related to mold set
