Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a Set Up Technician in Georgia to install and remove molds and lines for molding machines, maintaining equipment.

The role requires crane experience, at least 2 years of injection molding experience, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Training provided; benefits include medical, dental, disability, retirement, wellness programs, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Crane experience preferred.
• At least 2 years of injection molding experience.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Previous experience changing molds in plastics machines.
• Ability to communicate verbally or in writing.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Follows set procedures for removing molds from machines, including removal of water and hydraulic lines, removal of nozzles and heater blocks, unclamping/unfastening molds, hooking and hoisting molds from the machine.
• Follows set procedures for installing molds into machines, including connection of water and hydraulic lines, installation of nozzles and heater blocks, clamping/fastening molds.
• Cleans and repairs molding nozzles.
• Wires heater bands together.
• Installs and/or removes inserts for molds as scheduled.
• Rigs molds for removal from, and installation into machines.
• Transports molds in facility via crane and forklift.
• Maintains cleanliness, safety, and functionality of mold components and tools.
• Other duties as assigned.
