Job summary

Ultipro is hiring a Mold Support Technician to clean, organize, and maintain molds and related equipment to support efficient production. You will work with Set-up, Maintenance, and Production teams to ensure molds are ready for changeovers.

Duties include cleaning after runs, removing debris, organizing storage, moving molds with appropriate equipment, inspecting for damage, updating mold location records, supporting changeovers, and following 5S and safety procedures including lockout/tagout.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning and maintaining molds or similar equipment.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and 5S standards.
• Ability to move and organize molds and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean molds following production runs and prior to storage.
• Remove resin, debris, and contaminants from molds using approved cleaning methods.
• Organize and maintain mold storage areas.
• Assist with moving molds to and from production areas using appropriate equipment.
• Inspect molds for visible damage and report issues to supervisors or maintenance personnel.
• Maintain accurate mold location and inventory records.
• Support mold changeovers by preparing molds and related equipment.
• Ensure work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with 5S standards.
• Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and proper material handling practices.
• Assist the setup and maintenance teams with basic support tasks as needed.
• Maintain cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment used for mold maintenance.

Position Summary

The Mold Support Technician is responsible for cleaning, organizing, and maintaining molds and mold-related equipment to support efficient production operations. This position works closely with the Set-up Tech, Maintenance, and Production teams to ensure molds are clean, properly stored, and readily available for production changeovers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean molds following production runs and prior to storage.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.

Position Purpose

The Mold Support Technician plays a key role in supporting production by ensuring molds are clean, organized, properly maintained, and available when needed, helping reduce downtime and improve overall operational efficiency.
