Job summary

Amcor is seeking a hands-on technician to perform and optimize mold setups on IBM machines, assist with first article runs, and support mold PMs. The role includes setting up bottle conveying and flame systems, coordinating maintenance, and ensuring SPC hookups operate correctly.

You will work within safety policies and GMP guidelines as part of a team. The ideal candidate has a general mechanical ability, can read and follow procedures, and communicates effectively under tight timelines.

Qualifications

• General mechanical ability or equivalent on the job training.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read and understand work procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform and adjust complete mold set-up of IBM machines.
• Assist on 1st article setups including machine and conveyor operations.
• Assist in the mold shop with mold PMs and cleaning molds.
• Perform bottle set-up of conveying and flaming systems on IBM machines.
• Keep equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and following manufacturer’s instructions.
• Ensure proper setup and operation of SPC hookups on machines.
• Contribute to team effort.
• Perform PM work on molds to increase efficiency and reduce blocked cavities.
• Support and adhere to safety policies and GMPs.
