Job Description: Mold Set-Up Technician at Yanfeng

Join to apply for the Mold Set-Up Technician role at Yanfeng.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure injection molding machines are properly set-up and operate according to customer quality standards and production goals.
• Connect electrical, hydraulic, and cooling systems to molds.
• Set and adjust plastic material parameters, melt temperatures, shot size, injection speed, and pressures.
• Cycle the machine and fine-tune molding parameters to produce acceptable parts.

Compensation:

• Hourly rate: $19.82 - $28.47
• Shift premiums: 2nd shift +$0.50, 3rd shift +$1.00

Essential Functions:

• Maintain a safe work environment following HSE and 5S policies.
• Change tools safely using crane and Lock-out Tag-out procedures.
• Follow Mold Setting processes, set up equipment based on mold and material requirements.
• Maintain tool change equipment and tools in a safe, clean area.
• Perform weekly preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Conduct quality control testing before production.
• Report damaged equipment to supervisors.
• Use measuring tools for inspections during molding operations.
• Participate in training and meetings.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of experience with injection molding and in the automotive industry.
• Willingness to travel and work at customer sites, including physically demanding environments.
