Job summary

Greene, Tweed is seeking an onsite Molding Operator to set up and run compression molding lines, producing rubber and fabric components that meet strict design specs and quality requirements.

The role involves mold selection, surface inspection, tool operation, and detailed documentation. Candidates should have a high school diploma and be comfortable with basic shop tools and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• U.S. Person status required for ITAR access.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with molding of rubber and fabric components is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Mold quality rubber and fabric parts and ensure conformance to design specs and quality standards.
• Select appropriate molds, inspect mold surfaces, and prepare for press operation.
• Use hand tools, measuring devices, hoists, sandblasters, knives and shears as required.
• Interpret paperwork to determine schedules, procedures, and quality requirements.
• Complete and forward job paperwork with necessary stamps and dates.
• Verify accuracy of components issued and drawings attached to jobs.
• Follow safety rules and wear protective equipment.
• Train and mentor department staff.
• Troubleshoot and escalate issues as needed.
