Job summary

Greene, Tweed in Houston is seeking an operator to set up and run compression molding equipment, producing rubber and fabric parts that meet design specs and quality standards.

Responsibilities include selecting molds, monitoring cycle times, inspecting molds, and documenting production data while adhering to safety rules. The role offers growth in a high-standards manufacturing environment and cross-training opportunities.

Qualifications

• U.S. Person status required for ITAR access.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience molding rubber and fabric parts in a heated press line.
• Ability to read and interpret job paperwork and drawings.
• Willingness to train and mentor teammates.
• Ability to troubleshoot and escalate issues.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate compression molding machines to meet specs.
• Mold quality rubber and fabric parts; ensure cycle times and quality.
• Inspect molds, sandblast and clean as required, position into presses.
• Use basic tools and measurement devices to reference specs.
• Document production data: schedule, quantity, scrap, and lot control.
• Maintain safety and mentor others in the department.
