Job summary

Greene, Tweed & Co Limited is seeking a Mold Press Operator II for the 10:30pm–7:00am shift in Houston, TX. You will set up and operate compression molding machines to produce rubber and fabric components that meet strict quality standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, familiarity with molds, basic hand tools, and the ability to follow detailed job paperwork. Training and mentoring others are part of the duties, with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
Molding of quality rubber and fabric parts using materials & fabrics inserted into a mold and placed in a heated press line.
Interprets job paperwork to determine schedule, assembly procedure, process requirements and quality requirements.
Performs computer transactions to reference online documentation and production data.
Follows safety precautions and wears PPE.
Train and mentor other in the department.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate compression molding machines and support equipment to make specified components meeting quality standards.
Ensure parts meet design specifications and production requirements.
Monitor press cycle times and remove parts from mold.
Select proper molds, inspect mold surfaces, and position into press plates.
Maintain accurate job paperwork and production documentation.
