Job summary

Greene, Tweed & Co Limited is seeking a Mold Press Operator II for the 10:30pm–7:00am shift in Houston, TX. You will set up and operate compression molding machines to produce rubber and fabric components that meet strict quality standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, familiarity with molds, basic hand tools, and the ability to follow detailed job paperwork. Training and mentoring others are part of the duties, with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Molding of quality rubber and fabric parts using materials & fabrics inserted into a mold and placed in a heated press line.
• Interprets job paperwork to determine schedule, assembly procedure, process requirements and quality requirements.
• Performs computer transactions to reference online documentation and production data.
• Follows safety precautions and wears PPE.
• Train and mentor other in the department.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate compression molding machines and support equipment to make specified components meeting quality standards.
• Ensure parts meet design specifications and production requirements.
• Monitor press cycle times and remove parts from mold.
• Select proper molds, inspect mold surfaces, and position into press plates.
• Maintain accurate job paperwork and production documentation.
