Job summary

Greene, Tweed is seeking a setup operator to run compression molding machines and support equipment to produce components meeting specifications and quality standards. The role requires reading prints, adhering to process times, and maintaining safety protocols in a manufacturing setting.

The position emphasizes meticulous handling, documentation accuracy, and teamwork to ensure on-time production and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Mold quality rubber and fabric parts using mold and heated press lines; ensure cycle times and clean removal of parts.
• Assist press operations by selecting molds, inspecting surfaces, sandblasting and positioning into press plates.
• Use basic hand tools, measuring devices, electric hoist, sandblasters, knives, and shears.
• Read job paperwork to determine schedule, procedures, process and quality requirements.
• Enter data to reference online docs, provide production feedback on time, qty, scrap and quality.
• Complete and file job paperwork with stamps, date and initials.
