Job summary

Greene, Tweed in Houston, TX is seeking a dedicated Molding Operator to set up and run compression molding of rubber and fabric components to meet quality and production specs. You will handle mold selection, equipment setup, safety procedures and basic troubleshooting to keep line performance high.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Experience with molding processes and quality standards is preferred.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Molding of quality rubber and fabric parts using molds and heated presses.
• Facilitates press operations by selecting molds, inspecting surfaces, and positioning into press plates.
• Uses hand tools, measuring devices, hoists, sandblasters, knives and shears.
• Interprets job paperwork to determine schedule, processes and quality requirements.
• Completes and forwards job paperwork with required stamps and dates.
• Verifies accuracy of components, drawings, router and tool requirements.
• Follows safety precautions and wears protective equipment.
• Trains and mentors other in the department.
• Troubleshoots and escalates issues as needed.
