Job summary

Amcor LLC in Henderson, NV is hiring a night shift inspector to verify the quality of products as they are produced. You will visually inspect for defects, ensure safety compliance with GMP policies, and proceed to package the product into pallets according to production instructions. You may work solo or with others as part of a team to keep the line moving.

The shift is from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. on the B-shift, with a pay rate of $18.77 per hour.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibility is to verify the quality of product being produced by visually reviewing product for defects and packaging at press as it is produced. All tasks must be performed safely and comply with all safety and GMP policies. After checking product for defects (which we will train you to inspect for), you then package the product into packaging for storage. This involves reading production instructions for quantity and configurations of how to package properly directly onto pallets at your machine. Standing, walking, reaching and lifting boxes of up to thirty‑five pounds repetitively during a twelve‑hour shift. This process moves at a fast pace and is best suited for those that like to keep busy and not have sedentary tasks. The shift is B‑shift (nights) from 5:30p.m. to 6:00a.m. Pay Rate: $18.77 per hour. You will work with others as a team and also alone at times.
