Job summary

You will operate lathes, milling machines and grinders, troubleshoot mold issues, and maintain comprehensive maintenance records while working in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in tool shop or mold making
• Able to read blueprints and drawings with accuracy
• Familiar with electrical and hydraulic circuits using diagrams and meters

Responsibilities

• Clean and inspect injection molds and dies in PM process
• Perform final fitting operations on components for proper assembly
• Carry out assembly operations, refitting, reventing or adjusting as needed for objectives
• Maintain equipment maintenance and repair history records and parts usage
• Install or fabricate replacement components as required
• Troubleshoot mold and die issues in shop and production areas
• Study specifications to determine materials, machines and processes required
• Operate machine tools (lathe, milling, grinder) and verify conformance to specs
• Verify dimensions, alignments and clearances
• Develop specs from general descriptions for specialty tools and drawings
