Job summary

Inteplast Group in Tennessee seeks a Mold Maker A (1st Shift) to perform maintenance on injection molds, jigs and fixtures, and to build tooling components from prints using mills, lathes, EDMs and CNC equipment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 3–5 years of related experience in mold repair, plus preferred Tool & Die Maker certification. Candidates should understand Lean/Six Sigma, safety protocols, and be willing to work non-standard hours as needed.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with 3–5 years mold repair experience.
• Federal/State Certification as a Tool & Die Maker preferred
• Strong knowledge of CNC equipment, programming, surfacing, and DNC

Responsibilities

• Cleans and services tools and components; inspects for wear or damage.
• Disassembles and troubleshoots molds; identifies proper seals and flow.
• Creates tooling components with standard metalworking equipment (mills, lathes, grinders, EDMs and CNC).
• Assists with installation of tooling equipment; ensures safe operation.
