Job summary

Technimark in Asheville, NC is seeking a hands-on Mold Cleaning Technician to maintain and clean injection molds and related equipment. You will grease mold components, monitor water filters, and help keep mold tooling in top condition.

Responsibilities include identifying issues during cleaning, reporting findings, closing work orders promptly, and assisting in the Toolroom and mold setup as needed while upholding safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-machine mold cleaning and greasing.
• Identify and report issues found with the mold or machine during cleaning.
• Identify and repair leaking water connections or piping when needed.
• Maintain accurate reporting of activities and close work orders in a timely manner.
• Monitor mold water filters and change as needed.
• Clean machine platens after molds are removed.
• Shut down and restart molding machines pre/post cleaning.
• Identify safety concerns and report as needed.
• Maintain mold cleaning equipment and ensure it’s in proper working order.
• Assist in Toolroom and mold setup when needed.
