Job summary

Essentra is seeking a Toolroom Changeover Technician to join the Injection Molding team. You will prepare molds and equipment for production, perform efficient changeovers, and help ensure safe, effective operation of injection molding processes.

You will troubleshoot issues, read setup sheets, and document tooling activities as part of a collaborative team. Successful candidates will have hands-on mechanical skills, ability to follow procedures, and a commitment to maintaining a clean, safe

Qualifications

Mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand how machines, molds, and tooling work together.
Able to use common hand tools and basic measuring equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to read and follow work instructions, setup sheets, and basic technical documentation.

Responsibilities

Perform mold and machine changeovers according to production schedules and established procedures.
Safely prepare injection molds and related tooling for production.
Connect and disconnect water lines, electrical connections, hydraulics, and other mold-related equipment for testing.
Inspect molds, tooling, and equipment and identify issues that may impact production or product quality.
