Job summary

Essentra is seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined Set-Up Technician to support our injection molding operations. You will perform mold changes, install and remove molds and auxiliary equipment, and prep presses for production runs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate thrives in safety-conscious settings, maintains equipment and work areas to high standards, and is able to work overtime as needed to meet production requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision while also functioning as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools and power tools to remove and install molds and auxiliary equipment according to production requirements.
• Complete daily process and set-up checklists.
• Clean molds and return them to the Tool Room.
• Clear presses and workstations of parts, scrap, and materials.
• Operate powered pallet jacks and overhead cranes safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work overtime as needed to support business and production requirements.
