Job summary
Hubbell Incorporated in Rocky Mount, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician I - Mold Change to perform mold changeovers on injection molding equipment and support preventive maintenance to maximize uptime.
You will work with Production, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Tooling teams, ensuring molds and related systems operate safely and efficiently. Prior mold-changing experience is a plus, with opportunities to grow in a manufacturing leadership path.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1+ years in manufacturing, maintenance, or tooling.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and use tools safely.
- OSHA safety compliance and safe work practices.
Responsibilities
- Mold changeovers on injection molding presses per production schedules.
- Prepare machines, molds, and auxiliary equipment for startup.
- Assist with startup activities after mold installation.
- Verify molds, utilities, cooling, and support equipment operate correctly.
- Support startup validation and transition to production.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on molding machines and equipment.
- Read manuals and work orders; document maintenance records.
- Operate forklifts and hoists as required; follow safety rules.
