Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with Mohs procedures.
• Associate degree in chemical or biological sciences or medical laboratory technology.
• HTL/HT ASCP certification preferred or eligible.
• 60 semester hours (or equivalent) completed.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and laboratory equipment.

Responsibilities

• Embed, cut, stain, and mount tissue specimens efficiently and in adherence to established policies, procedures, and laboratory standards.
• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of histology, laboratory procedures, and quality control standards.
• Interact professionally with superiors, peers, physicians, and patients.
• Maintain strong organizational abilities and proficiency in relevant computer applications.
