Qualifications

• Completion of Mohs Training Program required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Specimen handling and processing for microscopic evaluation by the surgeon.
• Prepare and evaluate stains, reagents and solutions for slide prep.
• Perform quality control and preventative maintenance to ensure instruments and procedures meet standards.
• Assist with quality assurance and proficiency testing.
• Maintain accurate records to support regulatory compliance.
• Complete yearly competency testing.
• Adhere to OSHA, CLIA and HIPPA regulations.
