Job summary

Platinum Dermatology Partners in Henderson, NV seeks a Mohs Histotechnologist to support tissue processing and diagnostic workflows in the MOHS laboratory. This full-time role requires dermatology histology experience and certification, with duties spanning high- and low-complexity testing.

You will perform embedding, sectioning, staining, IHC and related tasks, maintain quality, and collaborate with pathologists to ensure accurate surgical margins and specimen handling in a fast-paced clinical

Qualifications

• Histology experience, preferably in dermatology.
• BS degree preferred.
• Certified Histotechnologist.
• Valid driver’s license.

• Immunohistochemistry staining.

Position Type: Full Time.

Platinum Dermatology Partners is seeking a Mohs Histotechnologist to work with our team.

Responsibilities

• Support the diagnostic evaluation of tissue by histological procedures.
• Perform histological duties within the guidelines established by histology and MOHS laboratory.
• Perform a variety of specialized histopathological procedures.
• High Complexity Testing: receiving fresh unfixed specimen at time of tissue removal, mapping, grossing, sectioning of specimen, ink application, relax cuts and scoring of tissue as needed.

Physical Requirements

Must possess manual dexterity to operate office machines including computer and calculator; stooping and bending to handle files and supplies; and mobility to complete errands or deliveries. Includes handling of sharps and chemicals.
