Job summary

Platinum Dermatology Partners in Henderson, NV seeks a Mohs Histotechnologist to support tissue processing and diagnostic workflows in the MOHS laboratory. This full-time role requires dermatology histology experience and certification, with duties spanning high- and low-complexity testing.

You will perform embedding, sectioning, staining, IHC and related tasks, maintain quality, and collaborate with pathologists to ensure accurate surgical margins and specimen handling in a fast-paced clinical

Qualifications

• Histology experience, preferably in dermatology.
• BS degree preferred.
• Certified Histotechnologist.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Support the diagnostic evaluation of tissue by histological procedures.
• Perform histology duties within MOHS laboratory guidelines.
• Execute a variety of specialized histopathological procedures.
• High Complexity Testing: receiving fresh unfixed specimen at time of tissue removal, mapping, grossing, sectioning, ink application, relax cuts and scoring of tissue as needed.
• Non High Complexity Testing: embedding, cryotomy, staining and coverslipping.
• Immunohistochemistry staining.
