Job summary

Apple in Sunnyvale invites ambitious engineering students to join the Camera Hardware Engineering internship. You will contribute to design, test, and qualification of camera hardware across Apple products, working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver world-class imaging experiences.

Ideal candidates are pursuing BS/MS/PhD in relevant fields and have hands-on lab experience with Matlab, Python, and C/C++, plus familiarity with optics or electronics.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Optics, Physics or a related discipline.
  • Experience using Matlab, Python, C#, or C++ for lab equipment control and data collection
  • Experience in image processing and quantitative imaging analysis with Matlab or Python
  • Experience in hands-on lab setups involving camera, optics, and EE
  • Experience with 3D CAD mechanical design for fixtures is a plus
  • Experience with board level circuit debug and soldering is a plus

The Camera Hardware Engineering group is responsible for all research, design, development, test, and qualification of camera hardware for Apple products.
