Apple Inc. in Cupertino, California, is seeking a hardware calibration engineer to join our imaging group. You will design and calibrate camera imaging systems, develop testers, and deploy software to calibrate and test imaging modules at global manufacturing sites.
The role requires analyzing large production data, defining calibration workflows, and leading cross-functional teams and external vendors to optimize test equipment and measurement methods.

Working responsibly for research, design, development, test, and qualification of camera hardware for Apple products. Involving with designing, implementing, debugging, and developing the methods to calibrate imaging systems and then the metrics to quantify their performance at factories around the world. Developing new testers/critical optical components to meet design requirements for calibration and test. Developing and deploying software that calibrates and tests imaging systems. Designing and conducting experiments to provide feedback for new product design and process. Analyzing volume data to provide mentorship on engineering decisions. 10% international travel required. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $184,700 - $277,600/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
