Job summary

Stryker Corporation is seeking an Installer for Fortress Modular Walls to perform on-site installation of modular wall systems in healthcare environments. The role requires reading construction drawings, handling physical labor, and representing the Fortress brand professionally while collaborating with other trades.

Candidates should have 2+ years of construction or modular installation experience, a valid driver's license, and OSHA certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction, carpentry, or modular installation experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of construction tools and techniques.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; ability to travel as needed.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification a plus (or willingness to obtain).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Install Fortress modular wall systems according to project specifications and installation manuals.
• Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and installation plans.
• Safely use hand and power tools to assemble wall panels, doors, frames, and accessories.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including daily reports and field changes.
• Communicate effectively with site supervisors, project managers, general contractors, and other trades.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe worksite in compliance with company and OSHA safety standards.
• Troubleshoot installation challenges and assist in on-site problem-solving.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and inventorying materials as needed.
• Travel to various project locations, including overnight stays when necessary.
