Job summary

Stryker is seeking an Installer for Fortress Modular Walls to perform on-site installation of modular wall systems in healthcare environments. You will read shop drawings, use hand and power tools, and work as part of a team to ensure precise installations and high-quality results.

This US-based field role requires lifting 50+ pounds, traveling nationwide, and adhering to OSHA safety standards. A high school diploma or GED is required, with 2+ years of construction or modular installation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years construction or modular installation experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and shop drawings.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Install Fortress modular wall systems according to project specifications and installation manuals.
• Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and installation plans.
• Safely use hand and power tools to assemble wall panels, doors, frames, and accessories.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including daily reports and field changes.
• Communicate effectively with site supervisors, project managers, general contractors, and other trades.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe worksite in compliance with company and OSHA safety standards.
• Troubleshoot installation challenges and assist in on-site problem-solving.
• Travel to various project locations, including overnight stays when necessary.
