Job summary

EVstudio is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer focused on modular and prefabricated building systems. You will lead design and analysis for steel, wood, and hybrid structures, develop D/Cs and specs for modular workflows, and coordinate with architects, manufacturers, and contractors to ensure efficient off-site fabrication and on-site assembly.

The role requires a PE/SE license (or exam passed) and strong Revit skills, with hybrid work options in the Rocky Mountain region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 7+ years of relevant structural engineering experience.
• Experience with steel and wood frame design; modular or prefabrication experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• PE or SE license required, or passed PE/SE exam.
• Demonstrated ability to think creatively and adapt designs to modular construction constraints.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural design and analysis with emphasis on modular, prefabricated, and volumetric construction systems.
• Design steel-framed, wood, and hybrid structural systems for off-site fabrication and on-site assembly.
• Develop construction documents, calculations, and specifications for modular production workflows.
• Collaborate with architects, manufacturers, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate design, fabrication, and installation.
• Utilize Revit to develop and manage structural models with repeatable components.
• Coordinate with fabrication partners and contractors on transportation, lifting, and assembly constraints.
• Participate in project meetings and support client communication.
• Assist with site observations and construction administration as needed.
