Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals seeks an Outside Sales Representative for Modular Solutions in Seattle. You will develop a strategic plan to grow market share, pursue large modular projects, and maintain a strong pipeline while building relationships with customers and stakeholders.

You will collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals, budgets, and competitive quotes, negotiating terms to secure project awards while ensuring profitability and adherence to guidelines.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of sales experience in commercial construction, modular buildings, prefabrication or related industries.
• Proven success managing long sales cycles and winning complex, high value projects.
• Strong understanding of construction concepts, building codes and design/build processes.
• Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of architectural plans, specs and estimating processes.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong project management, new business development and customer retention skills is a must.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw a valid conclusion to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ability to effectively present information to top management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow market share within the assigned territory.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for larger scale/custom modular projects, including commercial buildings, educational facilities, medical spaces and specialty space solutions.
• Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and long term project opportunities.
