Job summary

Prime Craftsman Homes in Wichita, KS is seeking a Roofing Installer to assemble and install residential roofing systems on modular home units within a controlled indoor warehouse environment. You will follow production plans, work instructions, and safety protocols to ensure watertight installations.

The role requires reading blueprints, measuring and cutting materials, and coordinating with framing and other teams while maintaining production timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year roofing experience.
Knowledge of roofing materials and building codes.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
Familiar with roofing tools and equipment.
Commitment to safety in manufacturing/construction.

Responsibilities

Install residential roofing systems per plans and instructions.
Measure, cut, install decking and underlayment.
Install flashing, vents, and roof components.
Apply sealants and fasteners for weatherproofing.
Inspect quality and leaks.
Read blueprints and follow layouts.
Coordinate with framing/electrical/HVAC.
Operate roofing tools safely.
Follow OSHA and safety policies.
