Job summary

Prime Craftsman Homes Wichita is seeking an Electrical Technician to install, assemble, and support residential electrical systems within modular home units during the manufacturing process.

This role emphasizes new construction electrical installation rather than field service, requires following production plans, reading diagrams, and maintaining safety and quality in a warehouse setting; overtime and Oklahoma training may be required.

Qualifications

• Electrical experience of 1+ year required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills and ability to measure accurately.
• Willingness to learn residential electrical installation practices.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical wiring, devices, panels, and components in modular home units according to production plans and work instructions.
• Pull, route, and secure electrical wiring through framed walls, floors, and ceilings.
• Install outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, junction boxes, and breakers.
• Assist with panel assembly, labeling, and circuit layout.
• Read and follow basic electrical diagrams, blueprints, and layout markings.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
