Job summary

Dynamic Systems (DSI), LLC seeks an OSM Mechanical Engineer to own the engineering of modular mechanical assemblies—from concept to shop fabrication and field delivery. You will translate contract documents into buildable modules, drive DFMA decisions, and stamp engineered deliverables where required.

Success means modules leaving the shop complete, on schedule, and installed in the field without rework. The role sits at the intersection of design, manufacturing, and construction, requiring

Qualifications

• DFMA and modular design experience.
• Strong BIM modeling and coordination skills.
• Experience with Revit and CAD detailing.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical design and calculations for modular HVAC and plumbing assemblies.
• Seal and stamp engineering deliverables within licensure.
• Develop DFMA standards for module envelopes and transport constraints.
• Review contract documents to identify constraints and modularization opportunities.
• Direct and review Revit/CAD detailing and spool drawings.
• Run clash detection and coordinate module interfaces.
• Manage workflow in Autodesk Construction Cloud (issues, RFIs, submittals).
• Serve as engineering contact for shop floor to resolve fabrication questions.
• Support production planning and module sequencing and takt alignment.
• Oversee weld procedures, materials, QA/QC on hydro testing, NDE and passivation.
• Coordinate with management, GC and owner on module delivery windows and set sequences.
• Support factory acceptance testing and turnover documentation.
• Respond to RFIs and submittals; assist in cost/change-order evaluations.
