Westwing, Europe’s #1 in Beautiful Living e-commerce, invites a Product Engineer to contribute to our customisable and modular furniture systems from concept through production at our Munich base.

You will translate design concepts into precise 3D CAD models and specs, lead material choices, and drive collaboration with suppliers and internal teams to ensure quality and feasibility across configurations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in product development with modular/configurable systems.
• Degree in Mechanical or Product Engineering (or similar).
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion, CATIA, NX).
• Strong knowledge of materials and manufacturing; DFM/DFA principles.

Responsabilités

• Translate concepts into 3D CAD models, drawings, and specs for suppliers.
• Lead material and process choices balancing aesthetics, structure, and feasibility.
• Discuss with suppliers to define requirements and resolve issues across product lines.
• Perform simulations and prototype reviews to meet safety and quality standards.
• Define core modular components to enable configuration logic for orders.
