Job summary

TAS Energy in Houston, TX is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, analyze, and optimize the electrical scope for modular components and systems. You will work with design, project management, and production to ensure seamless integration of modular solutions.

Responsibilities include creating one-line diagrams, BOMs, and coordinating with CAD teams (SolidWorks, Revit, AutoCAD) to ensure manufacturability. Hybrid role with relocation to TAS Houston Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; EIT/FE desired.
• 2–5 years in electrical engineering focused on modular construction or power distribution.
• Knowledge of NEC, IEC, NFPA; experience with switchgear, VFDs, MCCs.
• Ability to translate requirements into manufacturable designs; strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop modular components and systems for manufacturing.
• Create one-line diagrams, point-to-point schematics, and BOMs.
• Provide advisory support; participate in meetings representing TAS.
• Collaborate with CAD teams to ensure manufacturability and accuracy.
• Support production during fabrication, assembly, and installation; resolve design issues.
