TAS Energy, part of Comfort Systems USA, seeks a Sr. Electrical Engineer to drive electrical scope for modular systems in manufacturing.

You will review customer requirements, create 3D models and detailed drawings, and ensure compliant, manufacturable designs across the project lifecycle. You will size and select equipment, prepare BOMs, and support production through fabrication, assembly, and installation with cross-functional teams while maintaining stringent standards for safety and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required; controls may be considered.
• Military leadership/tech experience may substitute for degree.
• Demonstrated proficiency in technical writing and comprehensive documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop modular components for manufacturing processes, ensuring functionality and scalability.
• Serve as Electrical SME on data center/modular skid design, guiding technical decisions.
• Design entire electrical system: one-line diagrams, schematics, and BOMs.
• Provide advisory services in meetings, aligning technical strategies with project goals.
• Collaborate with Design team using CAD tools to create manufacturable 3D models and drawings.
• Size/select electrical equipment and assist purchases: switchgear, VFDs, MCCs, transformers, and conduits.
