Rune seeks a hands-on Data Center Engineer for on-site support of modular data center infrastructure at solar sites. The role covers maintenance, troubleshooting, and deployment of HPC/server/networking gear, with travel to deployment locations as needed.

Ideal candidates have experience in mission-critical data centers, strong hardware skills, and a focus on reliability and safety. This is a full-time, on-site position with potential after-hours support.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on data center operations or field service experience.
• Experience diagnosing and maintaining enterprise server hardware.
• Experience installing and maintaining physical networking infrastructure.
• Ability to work independently in field-based environments.
• Strong technical documentation and vendor coordination skills.
• Commitment to safety procedures and on-site work standards.

Responsabilités

• Perform hands-on maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs of high-value compute servers.
• Diagnose failed components and coordinate RMAs and vendor support.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot data center network hardware.
• Support site deployments, equipment commissioning, and expansion efforts.
• Document maintenance activities and update asset inventories.
