Job summary

Inventure seeks a hands-on Data Center Engineer to join our field operations team on-site. The role covers maintenance, troubleshooting, and expansion of modular data center infrastructure, including enterprise servers, GPU-based compute equipment, and networking systems.

You will work independently at client sites, diagnose hardware issues, coordinate replacements and vendor support, and maintain inventories and documentation to improve reliability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data center operations, server hardware maintenance, or field service engineering.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing enterprise server hardware.
• Familiarity with networking infrastructure, fiber optics, switches, and transceivers.
• Ability to work independently in a hands-on, site-based environment.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair enterprise and GPU-based server hardware.
• Diagnose hardware failures and coordinate replacements, RMAs, and vendor support.
• Support data center networking, including switches, fiber optics, cabling, and connectivity.
• Assist with server installations, rack integration, commissioning, and site expansions.
• Monitor equipment performance, conduct preventive maintenance, and improve operational reliability.
• Maintain accurate equipment inventories and technical documentation.
