Job summary

Giga Energy in Houston, Texas, seeks a delivery operations lead for the GigaBase modular data center program. You will own the execution plan from contract handoff through delivery to construction, connecting engineering, procurement, factories, freight and site readiness into one dependable plan.

You will build a tracking system, align cross‑functional teams, and enable rapid, data‑driven decisions while applying AI to improve repeatable processes for future sites.

Qualifications

• Evidence of delivering engineered equipment, manufactured products or capital-project packages with personal accountability for schedule and results.
• Ability to build and maintain a linked delivery schedule, including long-lead procurement, manufacturing, inspection, freight, customs and site readiness.
• Experience coordinating overseas manufacturing or vendor teams and holding cross-functional owners accountable without direct authority.
• Sound judgment on delivery trade-offs, scope changes and escalation, with clear boundaries between project decisions and engineering approval.
• Ability to create a dependable tracking system, reconcile conflicting data and turn a first-project process into something reusable.

Responsibilities

• Turn the signed scope and engineering inputs into a complete module and long-lead plan.
• Build and maintain the integrated delivery schedule, showing dependencies and effects of changes.
• Coordinate commitments with China product and procurement teams, factories, vendors and logistics.
• Drive delivery decisions with schedule and cost implications and obtain approvals.
• Control scope-change impacts and delivery risks with documented decisions.
• Hand off complete delivery information to construction with status and open items.
• Build repeatable ways of working and use AI to improve the order-execution process.
