Job summary

Giga Energy Inc. in Houston seeks a Construction Manager to lead pre-construction and construction activities across its data center infrastructure portfolio, delivering on-time, within-budget energized facilities.

You will coordinate with engineers, contractors, and suppliers through the full project lifecycle. The role requires a BA/Engineering degree, 5+ years of experience managing large-scale construction programs, strong leadership and communication, and proficiency with Procore or

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
5+ years of experience in construction or energy project management; utilities or modular infrastructure experience preferred.
Proven experience managing complex contractor networks and large-scale procurement.
Strong understanding of permitting, utility coordination, and QA/QC procedures.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Procore).
Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.

Responsibilities

Lead pre-construction planning, budgeting, scheduling and contractor coordination.
Direct and coordinate field construction across all trades with engineers and superintendents.
Maintain integrated construction schedule and track progress; implement recovery plans.
Coordinate planning with project management, procurement and site leadership.
Review contractor bids, change orders and payments; manage RFIs and submittals.
