Job summary

WillScot is seeking an experienced estimator to support front-end pre-construction activities for modular space projects. You will develop scopes of work, prepare estimates, and establish budgets in collaboration with the sales and construction teams.

Responsibilities include reviewing RFPs, performing take-offs, and coordinating with vendors and customers. Some travel (up to 20%) is required; modular experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction or engineering (or equivalent) with 3 years estimating experience
• High school diploma with 5 years estimating experience, modular experience strongly preferred
• Proficient in blueprint take-offs and MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong MS Excel skills and ability to use MS Project or other scheduling software
• Experience in customer service and sales presentation to assist Sales managers in closing deals
• Willingness to travel up to 20% and understand building trades/site development

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end pre-construction activities: develop scopes of work, prepare estimates, and establish project budgets
• Interact with sales, customers, and construction services to present capabilities and win work
• Perform project management duties on awarded projects including scheduling, vendor selection, and budget/margin control
• Review bid/RFP documents, blueprints, and specifications; prepare technical packages and win strategies
• Ensure Go/No Go reviews and provide value-added solutions to customers
