Job summary

WillScot is seeking an experienced estimator to support pre-construction activities for custom modular construction projects. You will work closely with sales, customers, and the construction services team to develop scopes of work, prepare budgets, and produce technical packages.

The role requires strong MS Excel skills, ability to interpret blueprints and bid documents, and experience with project scheduling software. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction or engineering preferred; 3 years estimating experience, or HS diploma with 5 years estimating experience
• Modular experience strongly preferred
• Ability to delineate subcontractor scopes of work
• Proficient in MS Project or other construction scheduling software
• Strong MS Excel skills and experience with MS Word/PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Support front-end pre-construction phases, presenting capabilities and developing scopes of work
• Assist in bid/proposal development, deal structuring and feasibility assessment
• Prepare estimates from RFPs and establish project budgets
• Manage internal/external stakeholders and scheduling, budget and scope updates
• Coordinate with sales team, customers and construction services for project delivery
• Perform site visits, vendor selection, and PO generation
• Develop project baseline estimates and technical packages
• Ensure Go/No Go reviews for projects equal to or larger than four units
• Maintain Mission Control uptake and reporting
