Sunbelt Modular Inc. seeks a Drafting Manager in Boise, Idaho to lead the drafting department, ensuring plans align with quotes, customer requirements and building codes. The role blends technical expertise with people leadership in a growing modular construction company.

The ideal candidate will manage a technical team, provide drafting support across departments, and drive accuracy from initial requirements through production with strong communication and organizational skills.

Formación

• Relevant experience in commercial construction, building design or drafting.
• Knowledge of applicable building codes and requirements.
• Strong people-management experience with lead/coach capabilities.
• Strong AutoCAD experience.
• Experience with COMcheck, REScheck and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans and specs.
• Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and supervise drafting department day-to-day activities with clear direction.
• Review plans for accuracy against quotes, customer drawings, production and purchasing needs.
• Read and communicate applicable state codes (Building, Plumbing, Mechanical, Energy, Accessibility).
• Assist in training and development of Drafting and Sales teams.
• Collaborate with other departments to clarify project information and resolve issues.
• Assist drafting with drawings and redlines as needed.
• Maintain high accuracy and organization in a fast-paced environment.
• Provide excellent service to internal and external customers while upholding confidentiality.
