Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Software Program Manager to join the Central PMO within the Technology Planning and Edge Solutions group.

The role focuses on Modem and RF software products, leading scoping, planning, and execution of software deliverables across various technology domains and SoC platforms. Responsibilities include risk management, schedule optimization, and executive reporting, with collaboration across Product Management and Engineering to align on Plans of Record.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of Program Management or related work experience.
• Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build strong technical and program understanding to develop key insights and influence.
• Drive and deliver overall program alignment and execution across multiple technologies.
• Understand requirements priority and drive scoping and planning, including interdependencies and schedule optimization.
• Partner with Product Management and Engineering to establish clear Plan of Records commitments and enable prioritization.
• Establish rigorous execution discipline and communication processes, including risk management, mitigation, tracking, and executive reporting.
• Develop program indicators to manage program health, including quality and timelines.
• Develop and establish processes that streamline the development cycle and integrate multiple plans and deliverables.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and drive consensus on development schedules and processes.
• Use verbal and written communication to convey complex information to multiple audiences.
