Job summary

Apple Inc. in Cupertino, California, seeks a Cellular Modem RF Software Engineering Program Manager to lead development of real-time RF software for cellular modems. You will coordinate across hardware and software teams, manage schedules, mitigate risks and report progress to executive leadership.

You should have 10+ years in FW/SW program or project management, with hands-on leadership experience and knowledge of RF software development and verification in wireless modems.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or related field required.
• 10+ years of relevant FW/SW program or project management experience.
• Proven experience in wireless modem RF software development or verification.

Responsibilities

• Own the development of Cellular RF Software controlling the RF transceivers and Front-end components in real-time full signaling mode.
• Track execution for RF Software plans across project phases from implementation and pre-silicon validation to cellular feature bring-up.
• Manage productization of RF Software through cellular modem system testing, field testing, interoperability testing, and production ramp.
• Drive and report RF Software activities for development, validation, non-regression testing, release management, improvements and defect resolution.
• Anticipate risks, develop mitigation strategies and facilitate conflict resolution.
• Deliver presentations supporting executive reviews including project status, key metrics, top risks and issues.
