Job summary

EXPANSIA, as part of the Aether Aerospace platform, seeks a Modeling and Simulation Engineer/Scientist II to support USAF programs in Dayton, Ohio. You will build high-fidelity models using AFSIM to evaluate air and space systems, RF sensors, and EW capabilities, contributing to concept development and mission performance analyses.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance is preferred.
• 5+ years of engineering experience in modeling, simulation, or related field.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink and EM simulation software.
• Understanding of RF sensor principles and related signal processing for aerospace systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop RF sensor models, algorithms, and simulation software for RF systems.
• Create complex antenna element/array models and integrate into large simulations.
• Document software/hardware characteristics, changes, test plans, and reports.
• Integrate models into AF SIM-based architectures and mission-level simulations.
