Job summary

ISSAC is seeking a highly motivated Modeling & Simulation Analyst to support the Missile Defense Agency in assessing the Missile Defense System capabilities. You will work with HWIL data for Ground Test events, CDI activities, and flight tests within the OSF simulation framework.

The role requires Python scripting and Linux proficiency, strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a collaborative, multi‑contract environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or Computer Science.
• 3-10 years of experience in modeling & simulation or related field.
• Proficient in Python scripting and Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide M&S framework analysis support for CDI activities, GT events, and Flight Tests.
• Analyze status of current and future OSF capabilities.
• Review test data for simulation performance and accuracy issues.
• Verify and validate event data quality and integrity.
• Develop and run Python tools to support M&S analyses.
• Document results and communicate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Collaborate with analysts and engineers to execute test simulation campaigns.
