Qualifications

• Requires a High School diploma or equivalent education.
• Requires completion of an apprenticeship or ~4 years on‑the‑job experience as a machinist.
• Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and perform the most diversified and complex machining operations from blueprints or sketches.
• Determine tooling, sequences, jigs, fixtures and design of tools.
• Use machinists’ hand tools and measuring equipment to produce parts to specifications.
