Job summary

Cliquelv in Las Vegas seeks a server/cocktail professional for a fast-paced setting. You will greet guests, guide them through experiences, and showcase menu knowledge for beverages and food.

You’ll deliver at the table, assist with side stations, and support staff to ensure smooth service. Ideal candidates bring 2 years in high-volume dining or 1 year in fine dining, plus familiarity with social media and lifting/cash handling.

Qualifications

  • 2-year experience as a server/cocktail in a similar, high-volume restaurant environment or 1-year experience in a fine dining establishment required.
  • 1 Year experience in marketing nightclubs or restaurants and/or related experience in a Retail or marketing internship or related university marketing coursework preferred.
  • Experience with social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, etc. and active participant in social media
  • Must have a working knowledge of Spirits, Wine and Food.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with POS systems and cash handling skills.
  • Good communication skills; multilingual is a plus.
  • Must be able to speak and to read in English proficiently.
  • Must be 21 years of age to serve food and beverages in the State of Nevada.
  • Must possess an alcohol awareness card and a Food Handler Safety Training Card.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests in a positive, friendly manner and make them feel welcome.
  • Guide guests through all phases of their experience.
  • Exhibit proper menu knowledge, selling techniques and service delivery of both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, and menu items offered.
  • Deliver to guest table according to steps of service.
  • Assist in running items, bussing tables and setting tables when necessary.
  • Provide direction to and assistance to support staff to ensure proper service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of side stations, tables and POS stations.
  • Anticipate guests' needs and respond with urgency.
  • Maintain professionalism to encourage guests to return.
  • Perform opening and closing duties and adhere to weekly requirements.
  • Encourage guests to make weekly table reservations.
  • Develop restaurant database through networking and data cards.
  • Build personal clientele and participate in weekly marketing requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with management, bartenders and service staff to address issues.
  • Work as a team to meet guests' and employees' needs.
  • Uphold health, safety, grooming, and attire standards.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Working as a team, assisting all guests' and employees' needs and inquiries.
  • Always be positive, show enthusiasm, be humble, be thankful, and be respectful to all team members.
  • Following all procedures and policies set forth by the company, division, department and all health and safety regulations set by County health department.
  • Conforming to the department grooming standards, uniform or attire, and jewelry policy.
  • Responsible for a cash bank or impressed bank issued at the beginning of service.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Physically able to lift and carry heavy trays and equipment as well as delicate china and glassware up to 50 lbs.
  • Physically able to walk without assistance on various surfaces for an extended period of time.
  • Must be 21 years of age to serve food and beverages in the State of Nevada.
