Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to establish, maintain, and enforce model style guide rules for MBSE artifacts developed in Cameo. You will support training and reviews of system architecture within MBSE models.

The role requires a Bachelor or higher in a STEM field with related experience, or an MS with less experience, and the ability to obtain Secret clearance. Relocation assistance may be available and travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in a STEM discipline with 2 years of related professional/military experience, or Master of Science with no related experience.
  • Experience with applied SysML using Cameo Systems Modeler or equivalent software.

Systems Integration Engineer

Location: Melbourne, Florida (on site)

Relocation assistance may be available.

Clearance required: Yes, Secret.

Travel: Yes, 25% of the time.

Job Overview

The role involves establishing, maintaining, and enforcing model style guide rules to ensure quality, consistency, and integrity of MBSE artifacts developed in Cameo. The engineer will assist with training and reviews related to system architecture within MBSE models.

Responsibilities
  • Familiarity with model governance concepts, including configuration management and control processes.
  • Review models for compliance with organizational modeling standards and best practices.
  • Work on an agile team utilizing Jira to track work progress.
  • Communicate effectively and present technical approaches and findings at technical and program reviews and boards.
  • Apply extensive technical expertise to develop solutions for complex problems requiring ingenuity and creativity.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in a STEM discipline with 2 years of related professional/military experience, or Master of Science with no related experience.
  • Principal Systems Engineer: Bachelor of Science with 5 years experience, or Master with 3 years, or PhD with 1 year.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a final adjudicated Secret clearance within a reasonable period.
  • Experience with applied SysML using Cameo Systems Modeler or equivalent software.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Systems engineering experience across requirements, architecture, integration, verification, and validation.
  • Proficiency with Agile workflows (Scrum/Kanban), sprint planning, backlog refinement, and iterative delivery.
  • Experience developing and implementing configuration management for MBSE models and architecture baselines in tools such as Cameo, MagicDraw, or Rhapsody.
  • Strong communication and technical writing skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to brief complex topics to internal leadership and external stakeholders.
Salary

Primary Level: $79,300.00 - $118,900.00 per year.

Secondary Level: $98,400.00 - $147,600.00 per year.

Additional compensation may include overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonus, and long-term incentives for certain positions. Employees also receive health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company paid holidays, and paid time off.
