Job summary

RTX, the aerospace and defense leader, seeks a Model‑Based Tools Design Methods Engineer to mature MB tools for production readiness and MB‑DMI deployment. You will support development and production‑part MBD workflows, ensure QMS compliance, and provide help‑desk level support while coordinating changes with vendors.

You will work with MB‑DMI strategic leads to harmonize toolchains, validate tools across PLM/CAD/CAM/CAI/MES, and drive standardization across engineering and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 8+ years of engineering, or Master’s with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience with Model‑Based Enterprise and related MB tools.
• Experience with PLM, CAD, CAM, CAI, and MES systems (NX, Teamcenter).

Responsibilities

• Mature model‑based tools to production readiness and ensure QMS alignment.
• Provide help‑desk support and coordinate tool changes/defect resolution.
• Develop cross‑functional MB‑DMI deployment strategies and toolchains.
• Validate MB‑DMI tooling across PLM, CAD, CAM, CAI, and MES systems.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to advance tool evolution and adoption.
